It's not listed on the parts diagram so you'll have to have the service dept. look in their service manual for the tool part number. I disassembled my machine and put it on a trailer and took it to the dealer.

Set it low. Now, place trans in neutral, lock park brake. Start engine and rev it up to activate clutches. Run wide open for a few seconds. Let it fully come back to idle. Observe clutch on engine. Now shut off engine. If you hear a "click/pop" from the engine clutch, it isnt disengaging properly.
You can easily duplicate the JDG813-1 removal tool. Cut a 3" length of 1/2" un-threaded steel rod. Square off and de-burr the ends, but don't round them over. After removing the mounting bolt & washer from the end of the primary clutch, insert the rod into the crankshaft hole.
First, remove the bed. You will need a metric set of wrenches. Then a 1/4" drive metric socket set helps a lot as does having a good supply of 1/4" extensions and a universal joint. This is used for accessing the bolts that hold the clutch cover halves together especially in the rear.I found this thread after searching for a solution to the shifting problem with my 2018 590m. Just thought I'd post to let the group know that JD Clutch Docs repair is legit. With shipping and the repair it was around $200 all in. The Gator now shifts as it should have from the factory.
