Automatic updates are a bad idea, due to how mod pages are set up, and the fact that some modders put their updates in a lower section on the page, so Vortex gives you the option to go to the mod page and choose which update you actually need. Vortex will continue to install the revision you started downloading, however, if you click "Update" in the "Added Collections" view it will update the newest revision and download those files. Any mods from the old version that still exist in the new one will not need to be reinstalled.
