I have been experiencing that same problem with my 2009 "certified" used Toyota Rav4. No it doesn't happen every day, but it seems to happen at the wrong times.

The starter, battery and alternator check out fine. The spark plugs, distributor, cap, rotor, wires, and coil are all new and work when it starts cold.
