Apr 24, 2008 · 19 posts · Joined 2008. #10 · Jul 18, 2008. the rzr service manual gives torque values for general 3/8 bolts of anywhere 20 to 50 ft/lbs depending on thread count and grade of bolt so I believe 90 is to high for lugs. Look in the general information section of service manual under torque specs. Oct 4, 2014 · Think of a bolt as a piece of strong rubber. If you stretch it some amount you will get a corresponding force. The 30 ft-lbs is just the starting place and the 1/4 turn is the amount of stretch.
