People who don't want to get accustomed to the fact that it does not hold your hand and is not a linear slog like pretty much 95% of the entries afterwards, have no one but themselves to blame. Just remember that Zelda is never older than 16. In the Oracle duology, Link is probably like 13 or 14, at the oldest. Din and Nayru are both clearly taller than the kid, who definitely is still growing. For sure Zelda especially has routinely shown off things that never saw the light of day in the final game.
