There's a sizeable horde not too far from the gas station in Muldraugh, unfortunately my base is at the Rusty Rifle, also near the gas station. I have a molotov ready to go, so could I lure the horde near the gas pumps and explode it while they're on top, making a nice big zombie bbq? Archived post. The gas station in SE West point would probably take a similar amount to clear, and has some storage lots near it for good loot. Currently have a base here, specifically in the spiffo's. It's not bad, but like others have said, you have to deal with large groups of zombies migrating towards you from the towns on either side.A gas can can hold 8 units, which would make 250 gas can. you no need mods... You have to have checked the option "set up generator outside" in Sandbox. You can put a generator near the post in a gas station and it can pump again gas.... Without mods, you'll only get it searching. With mods, you can use the generator to turn on a gas station and get gas ( it's not infinite !

Alternative suggestion: See if you can fuel some empty gas cans or generators at the pump (assuming you have it turned on for the latter). You can do that directly with right click as long as the power is on and you have some in your inventory. If you can’t, the pump is out of gas, and you’ll need to find another.

Easy way to check is to run into the store and see if the refrigerators are running, and if they are you better go catch them! Vehicles can't directly access gas pumps (I know lol). You have to find an empty gas can and use that to pull fuel from pumps. Testing resulted in about 5000 units at the thunder gas station when set to very low. Ridiculous as the wiki says 500-800 units on NORMAL.
