As I have no practice or hands on experience with either some first hand advice would be invaluable in making my purchase decision. Not looking or expecting an increase in accuracy just make the rifle more user friendly and function better. Specifications and some features: Triggers: X-Mark trigger, and most aftermarket triggers. Some may require inletting – Tubbs T7 does not fit. LOP (length of pull) 2.25″ adjustable via 3/8″ spacers. Overall LOP 12.8″-15″. Buy the KRG Bravo Chassis in FDE, Sako Green or Black from Bison Tactical for your Remington 700 action.

The XRAY and Bravo have options for hooks, stops, or bag riding toes and the grip area feels much better out of the box. As much as I hate to admit it, the KRG Whiskey/X-ray/Alpha chassis's are probably my favorite over the MDT/Oryx stuff. I have a BRN-1 chassis, an LSS-XL, Savage factory chassis, and an XRS.

Personally, I find the plastic-bolted-on-a-frame looks of the XRS, Bravo, older AIs, etc. insanely ugly and I wouldn’t want one in my safe. That’s not to say they’re bad chassis systems, I just don’t want to look at them. To that end, I’d go with a Woox over an XRS. I like the Bravo, but the X-ray is not the "chassis look" version of the bravo... its essentially the polymer/less adjustable version of the Whiskey-3. Completely different between the X-ray and the Bravo. Having held and handled a couple Bravo's, the X-Ray is definitely more like the Whiskey-3...which is why I got it.

When I first pulled the Oryx chassis out of the box, I was surprised by its weight. At 4.2 lbs, it’s not a lightweight. The KRG Bravo is 2.9 lbs in comparison. A full-on PRS chassis from MPA, KRG, or MDT will run somewhere between 4.5 lbs and 7 lbs out of the box.

Oryx is smaller than the xrs and less modular. XRS is definitely more geared for the prs realm on a budget. I like being able to use whichever grip I want on the oryx, however I would prefer having the option for Mlok on the side of the forend.
