There were some XT series rifles made under freedom group in Mayfield Ky. I have one of these in .22LR that was made in 2012. I forget when Marlin closed down under the new owners, but around 2018 or so. Not sure if or how many, .22mags were made under freedom group. I have my own 883SS in 22 mag I bought around 2003, and it's a very good rifle.
