Dec 12, 2010 · It is called "inactive idle shutdown" and is present for fuel economy reasons. The feature will shutdown the engine after 45 minutes of idling even if the idle shutdown is disabled. Solution : To disable this feature, the CPC parameter : PG360 - Enable inactive shutdown -- needs to be change to "disabled".

Replaced ignition switch and still does it. I can not get the truck to do it for me but customer says turn key and stays running has to unplug connector from bulkhead module.

Other times releasing the tractor brakes will do it. Best solution though is to go to your boss and tell them not being able to idle when temperatures get into the negatives is extremely unsafe and you won't drive an unsafe vehicle.
