The ONLY way you can improve your gameplay is to literally just play as a pmc. You spawn, go straight to buildings and loot. Eat/drink anything you see and pick up everything you see. Know your extracts and move while it’s quiet and don’t linger unless you have no choice or the element of surprise.So if you bag a PMC in every 1 of 5 scav runs, you'll be back to 0.0 in 60 (finished) runs. (0.01 * 60) + (0.03 * (60/5)) = 0.96. Try and do car extracts as a pmc (interchange/woods is easy) and that will boost it up quickly.
