May 14, 2010 · It's not as stout as some of the older 12"+ models that Dewalt put out, but mine will hold its settings and cuts consistently after tuning it up. I've owned 5 different Dewalts, and this is the one I've kept around, mostly because it's a 12" saw. I think I paid in the neighborhood of $200 for it, used.

I have an old DeWalt RAS, this one had ON / OFF buttons in the "nose" above the saw. When I got my saw, there was no switch, just holes. So I have a wall-type power switch on a box on the side of the saw. Not very convenient.
