Ruger American Pro Compact 9 slide and take down lever stuck. Just pulled brand new gun out of box to disassemble, clean, and lube. Pulled slide to rear and locked in open position. Rotated the take down lever until it stopped. Pulled the slide rearward to drop slide stop and allowed it to move slowly forward.The Lite Rack Ruger .380 runs about 10 pounds. Take the gun and Pull back the slide and start drying firing it. Then Push the slide forward while dry firing it a number of times. This should work. Also do the same procedure with a mag in.
