I quickly discovered that the long buffer and the PRS stock don't play well with each other. I looked at drilling it out but that seems a stretch. I'd rather use the correct length and be done with it.Having had both an AR-10 and a PTR-91 both using iron sights, I can say that the experience of shooting comfortably definitely goes to the AR-10. The recoil of the PTR-91 is significantly higher. It bolts with a large flat head screw from the rear, thru the stock to the buffer, you remove the butt plate to access the interior of the stock.
