I looked for every single sign of impending labor and there was just nothing. No changes in bowel movements, no crazy Braxton Hicks, no mucus plug loss except the one over two weeks earlier, my cervix hadn't change from 2cm dilated and 70% effaced (that my OBGYN originally said happened at 36 weeks) even when I checked into the hospital...You can lose it and then it grows back and then you lose it again, so it doesn't necessarily mean labor is imminent.
