The Little Log House Pioneer Village is home to over forty-five restored buildings, a replica of the Hastings Spiral Bridge and flower gardens designed by Sylvia that span over 40,000 square feet. Once a year, the Bauer’s open the village to the general public to tour over three days.
In order to save the church, it was taken apart brick by brick (approximately 40,000 bricks) and rebuilt at two-thirds of its original size at the Little Log House Pioneer Village in 1997. The original steeple stands up to 130 feet tall alongside the Historic St. Boniface Church. The Historic St. Boniface Church is open to all denominations. QUICK FACTS. Pioneer Village is a collection of authentic pioneer buildings and artifacts from around Utah. Originally started in 1938 in Salt Lake City by Horace & Ethel Sorenson. Most of the collection was purchased by Lagoon and opened in its current location in 1976.
