APUSH and World are hard but not nearly impossible. I read all of Duiker and Spielvogel's World History for World and about half of The American Pageant for APUSH. Lately there has been a big shift towards themes, and away from dates: there really aren't any on the AP Exams themselves, I don't know if that will be the case in your class.

I'm also taking AP psych, AP lang, and Apush. My class may be an outlier, but it's really easy. On an average night we get no homework but on occasion we have to annotate articles. There are no reading requirements that are actively enforced. The teacher is one of the best I've ever had: super nice while also actually teaching.
