I have the same issue with my fridge. No water dispenser or ice maker, except my replace filter alarm wont reset. It's driving me batty. I press and hold the button for 3+ seconds and it beeps and turns off.....until the next time I open the fridge door. Okay, so they didn't bother to remove the feature, but to also make it un-mutable/re-settable.
