Still loving the game myself and after playing Xenoblade 2 I hope when they do the next Zelda (if on the switch still) they at least keep the resolution the same and only do minor tweaks here and there to the engine. Of course if they can push the visuals further without sacrificing resolution the better.

Some thoughts: i've done the spirit temple and wind temple so far, depths mostly unexplored. Characterization and cutscenes have less charm than BotW so far, and i don't think zelda is as likeable. The story is much more interesting for sure, but i think i already have a solid grasp on the events from watching a couple cutscenes.

They were maze like, had secrets, had bosses. They were dungeons, way more than the beasts in BOTW. If BOTW was trying to be like Zelda 1 it failed in the dungeon department. I think they should look at Zelda 1s dungeon design, non linear, optional items and so on.
