I have an update to my post on the engine oil check procedure in the XC40. I spoke with a Volvo Service Associate (second time) at my local dealer. He advised me to let the car's oil level sensors do the work of alerting me when the engine oil level is low. I don't have any experience with the Drive-E engine. All my pervious cars used a dipstick.Ahhh, I had this exact problem back in May on my brand-new C40 using my OpenEVSE 40A box -- which I had been using with my old BMW i3. Jul 12, 2021 · I think this occurred when I switched the lights on in my semi-dark garage. I forget the exact text but something like "Detected a headlight malfunction". It shows up in the vehicle status screen on the center console. And then it seems to go away on it's own. Both times, the headlights seemed fine; the high/low beams work, and the left-right ... Especially because there aren’t speakers in the doors and everything comes from right in front of you, even the HK system feels a little empty in the XC40 until you get used to it. I understand the HK system has an extra subwoofer in addition to the “air” subwoofer in the dash and I think that helps a lot. Like. C40 Dash cam. Both our XC40 Recharges had Blackvue DR900X Plus front/rear dash cams. The installs were reasonably straight forward. The rear required a little work to snake through a rubber harness to the rear lift gate.
