Current system gives you standards for mileage, mailboxes, mail and parcels and only counts a small time frame. We will be getting .0294 per piece to case in office. RRECS Depends on walk distance to gather mail, number of trays of DPS, number of trays of FSS. There is no time standard for other mail prep, like dumping sacks, so I'm not sure how a carrier wlll be credited. Also no time credit for withdrawing "raw mail" or prebundled flats. Not sure how that will be counted.So if that was only once every week…. 52 x 3.1421 then 2.7232 hours of pay not earned. If fueling twice a week, double that. If all POV carriers did the same, that adds up really quickly & would give mgmt reason to lower the EMA to the gov't standard in Contract negotiations.
