I just bought a Lefever Nitro Special 12ga with 30" barrels. S/N indicates manufacture in 1927. BEAUTIFUL gun. Superb mechanical condition. The bone charcoal case hardening is still quite visible on the bottom, and just a bit worn off on the sides. Checkering is still visible, but worn down quite a bit. Otherwise, the stock is gorgeous.
