When the person who imprinted the Dino is riding the imprinted tame, there is no indication of any sort of riding bonus. Furthermore, if we switch riders, the imprinted tame does the same amount of damage, no more or less, than when the rider that imprinted is riding. Your damage buff is based on the imprint percenrage. If you, for example imprint for 50%, you have a 50% of 30% total damage/reduction. An easy formula would be x*30/100 with x being the percentage of imprint you have on your dino. You'll know how much % of damage and damage reduction you'll get.
