Since the vehicle is stuck in accessory mode, my first suggestion would be to disconnect the vehicle battery negative cable for 10-25 minutes to see if it is enough to reset the system. If the reset does not work, the system would need to be diagnosed step by step using a capable diagnostic scan tool.

My first thing I would check is the battery connections, they inevitably have a bad connection, might have good enough voltage but after it starts it drops and shut off the engine due to not enough voltage for the electronics. Try resetting the modules by disconnecting both 12 volt battery cables for a few minutes. If car still wont start at that point, will need to have mobile mechanic scan the computers for trouble codes/possible module reset.
