The gun is equipped with the DPM recoil reduction system, but the recoil was still too much, and I was flinching badly. So, I stopped shooting after two magazines. I don't mind shooting the ammo occasionally through my G19 ...It just appears to be more well-balanced. The Glock 43X just has a short muzzle, which I really don’t care for, whereas the Glock 48 just seems like a more balanced design. In a weird way, it reminds me of a 1911. It definitely doesn’t look as elegant as a 1911 or has nice details, but the outline is similar in my opinion. Since the slide is milled, and the weight will be lessened, would it be advised to use a rod with a 15lb. spring, especially since the porting will slightly lessen the gas pressure during recoil? A little weight will be added with a red dot (probably the RMSc). Probably a silly question, and maybe I'm overthinking it.

The only issue I have in this is that it is Glock and in this case a 43x and 48 built on the same platform with many of the same internal components. The main exceptions seem to be the slide and barrel, which add mass to the front end of where the 43x leaves off.
