I just started to use these this month. I had 2 days of the hollow circle. 6 days of the flashing circle and then the following day the static smiley face. I will admit that any more days of flashing smileys and I could have lost the plot. But reading back on the instructions leaflet, 5-8 days is normal in 25% of the cases for flashing smileys.
