DDO doesn't have anything like the Mystic Theurge prestige class. So wizard 10 / Alchemist 10 would be subpar compared to a pure build based on either. Flavor option: theoretically you could make an Imbue-based hybrid to take advantage of stacking dice from different trees.

Combining the toughness and survivability of the Warforged, with the DPS of the Wizard and the utility skills of the Rogue. Capstone is way stronger. Barbarian and paladin are fine. Paladin vistani is fine. Alchemist is great is well build even with few past lifes, sorc works fine but it´s not great for high reaper.
