There were different light patterns but mostly it seemed to start with flickering Diff Lock light, then VDC Off light, then Diff Lock goes out and ABS, VDC Off, and VDC Slip are all on. It came with code P1839 and the dealer said faulty diff lock position switch/sensor. My wife said it didn't want to start but finally did (it's like 15 degrees F here today) and she said the "check engine soon," "SLIP," and "VDC Off" lights were all on and it wouldn't move. I tried all gears and 4WD but it would only creep back in to the driveway with the accelerator buried.

Vehicle: 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x (35k total miles) with lift and 295 tires. Have had lift and tires now about 30k no issues. When I start the Xterra I have the "Diff lock" and "VDC off" lights. As soon as I turn my wheel (about 45-90 degrees) the "diff lock" light turns off. Then the ABS, VDC Off, SLIP lights turn on.
