And it's funny; now that it's installed and I've put some butt time behind it, it fits perfectly with my 2010 C6 GS Vette platform, and should have come from the factory like THIS for the money they charged folks (10 years ago). My shifter is pretty stiff trying to move to the 1-2 gate or 5-6 gate from the 3-4 line. I just thought I needed to do the anti-venom mod but it looks like I need to get back under there and tuck the boot down lower. As shown, mine just sits around the MGW boot like the C6 video shows and I added white lithium grease to keep the friction down.
The MGW looks and feels better than any shifter out there ! I just love driving my car more with the MGW and yes it will be shorter than stock C5 and C6 as these shifters feel like ur driving a truck in my opinion! or just like any other car out there ! the MGW will look just right in your car, actually perfect !
