When I place an order on Tradovate, the volume seems wrong. It plays an "Order Filled" sound, but it's really loud. If I look at the notification settings (Settings -> Preferences -> Advanced Notification), I can play the sounds and they work fine. The volume seems normal. However, when I'm trading, the volume is so loud that the "Order Filled ... So I feel Tradovate is the best option for most people, although it may be worth opening a TradeStation futures account for the charting, if nothing else for backtesting. There used to be a $2K minimum balance for their TS Select Plan but as far as I can tell they removed the minimum balance. Tradestation has much lower margins ($292 for MES) and rates.
