Hello-. Can someone identify what Ford Industrial tractor I am looking at buying? Stamping on transmission housing near starter has two sets of numbers. Top number is 41401S. Bottom number is 31398. Can anyone pinpoint year and model, I think it is a 4000 series heavy duty industrial. It looks like the 65-67 year range but my serial number isn't in the format shown on all the websites so it doesn't really line up. If the transmission is original to the tractor then the top 3 numbers on that sticker should match the 3 numbers stamped into the flat spot on the bell housing. If the sticker is still there post back all of the numbers that you find on it. There were a couple of models that Ford called a 4100.
