Hi I'm in my second playthrough and realize there are things to do in the tower beside killing the boss. The first time, I didn't get there before temple of Shar, so I was just attacking with Jaheira and co.

What i did was a bit sneaky. You can go to the left of the tower before entering it, jump over the tree roots and then sneak your party up to the rafters above the whole swuad of enemies. You can then surprise them. Jeheira is still hard to keep alive, but a free turn for your party AND the allies does wonders.You'll have to kill all four. Speak to the Harper recruit and Jaheira will try to convince him to leave the Harpers. If you tell her that it should be his choice, Jaheira will approve.
