My Hunter is a mkIII model and the mag release is a little easier than the trap door release on my mkII target. I do have target style grips on my hunter that probably gives me a more stable one handed grip that conforms to my hand a bit better than the "normal" style the target arrived with as well as the original Hunter grips. I traded for a nice MkIII Hunter today. It's stainless, 4" fluted barrel. FO front sight, and Crimson Trace grips that the previous owner said came from the factory. It's a 2010 model, it has the spent case with date in the case, all the paperwork and 3 mags. (Only been shooting bullseye for a year, barely a newbie).
