I have gone to 3 stores and they all list a screw on type of filter, not the cartridge type it takes. I went to the dealer (Desert Motorsports in Scottsdale, AZ.) and bought a 16510-29F00 for $10.00. Here are the different oil capacities for every engine type. 4.3L V6: 6 quarts. 5.3L V8: 8 quarts. 6.2L V8: N/A. For optimum engine performance, you should use the proper amount of oil.
