Hi everyone as many of you I've seen the video posted by Steve over on GamersNexus, as well as Linus' response to it on the LTT-forum. I've seen the video about the Block by Billet Labs when it came out, and I was also aware, as most of you are, that the quality of the videos has been declining over the past couple of months, as well as factual errors that have been creeping in here and there.

Gamers Nexus was a website before it was a Youtube channel. They were similar to the Tom's Hardware/Anandtech's of the world. Go watch Steve's videos on NewEgg or the scam PC building boutique company. He's as close to a journalist that there is for the Tech reviewer channels.

Gamers nexus is the Jeremy Kyle/Jerry Springer of the YouTube tech community, he's the drama King. He purposely tries to provoke a negative response and conflict from people to entertain his audience, and he really enjoys it, you can tell by how excited he gets, the laughing, the grinning, and the silly lame attempts at jokes he makes.
From watching the Gamers' Nexus video, not much has seemingly changed since I stopped watching. In Dutch there is a saying: "Tall trees catch a lot of wind". LTT is a big channel, so they obviously get a lot of scrutiny. But I think Gamers Nexus makes valid points. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is how you correct them that matters.

Gamers Nexus released a weekly news video, as scheduled, on the 15th of August, but added a segment around Linus’ response to Gamers Nexus’ video and the situation as a whole. The Segment ate about 12 minutes of the start of the video but once again Steve remained professional in the delivery of criticism to the LMG.

All of these factors effectively cheapen LMG's response. They should replace the video as-is (one of a very few select youtube channels that can do so without changing the video URL) to remove the sponsor jokes, demonetize the video, and remove the merch link from the description. ... That's just not how a YouTube channel works. A TV News Show possibly, but not a YouTube channel. It's easy for Gamers Nexus to make claims that "5 minutes could have been taken to fix an edit" when their staff and company is MUCH smaller and much more agile than a 100+ employee company.
