My opinion is that the canon ending is one that isn't in the game; logically speaking, however, it makes the most sense. That ending is: high honour Arthur, help John, but still get killed by Micah. Why this? Well logically, Arthur will have high honour because he redeems himself at the end.
However it seems to be a bit different in canon from what it was like in Legends/KOTOR. For one, the Dark Saber and Tarre Vizsla are only in canon. Also the Mandalorian War happened closer to the movies in the timeline in canon (in canon I think it's about 1000 years pre-movies but it's 4000-ish years pre-movies in KOTOR/Legends).

No. In KotOR 2, you can choose in the beginning Revan's gender and alignment. John Jackson Miller in his KotOR comics was very careful not to give Revan a canon gender, appearance, or alignment, either. Canon Revan is only something that was come up with a few years after the fact. EDIT: Only now do I realize I misread the prompt.

Revan's identity as a man or woman would be left ambigous, and how Kotor ended, would be a matter of debate among historians in the Empire and Republic, and people who still know of the name of Revan, would have their own opinion who Revan was, and what actually happened with him/her.
The ending should include: 1) The alignment of Revan, 2) Revan's gender, 3) Bastila's fate, 4) Fate of the Star Forge, and 5) fate of Carth Onasi. Considering it all, the most likely legends-canon ending scenario is the Republic winning and the Sith Empire collapsing.
