Newbie here. I have a 1999 Vulcan VN800 Classic that sat for a long time that I am putting back on the road. Troubleshoot the problem in order to find and repair only the fault that is present. 2000 Vulcan 800 Carburetor issue. When I bought it, it ran long enough to test ride and once around the neighborhood. The bike flooded out and when I took the air filter cover off it was full of fuel. Decided I should clean out the carb and noticed it was full of sediment and the air cut valve could be seen through.
