Apparently Delta has now a policy of NO SEAT ASSIGNMENTS for lower-priced tickets. Seats are not assigned until check-in. So we checked in 40 minutes after the check-in period opened up and we are on a standby list for a fight tonite. We have no idea what will happen at the airport. This is a return flight.
