Jan 22, 2021 · So I shut off the PC changed the CPU entered the BIOS again and now I can’t enter the windows. I am stucked in the bios. I tried to press f11 to enter boot option but I am only able to choose “enter setup” and nothing else. I don’t know why? In the BIOS I can see all my Hard drives but I can’t boot in windows. I'm about to upgrade my system from a Ryzen 1600AF to Ryzen 5 5600. I have the MSI b450 Tomahawk Max board and nervous about updating the firmware so it would accept the Ryzen 5 5600. On the MSI website, the firmware version for b450 Tomahawk Max listed under compatibility section with Ryzen 5 5600 is 7C02v3D. The latest version is 7C02v3F.
What all of those fixes do wrong, they say install cpu, power on the pc then push the flashback button. Just power down the pc, you can even remove cpu and ram if you like. plug in the usb thumbdrive/stick/key into the flashback usb slot. Press and hold the flashback button for around 3-5 seconds, wait for it to finish.
