Fallout 4 beginning stuck.

Got up to the part where you exit the vault via the same elevator you used to get in to the vault at the early start of the game. Upon reaching the surface, I find that i can no longer move. The issue is when people start it there is sometimes a glitch in the intro sequence. To get around it you have to pause the game and unpause several times for the dialogue to progress.
