dark estoc is really bad, like the worst infusion for estoc kinda bad. The biggest strength of estoc is leo counters (if you hit someone during an attack thrust damage is boosted, this lets you win trades vs small weapons and do more damage on whiff punishes to slower ones). Dark infused estoc? I use a hex mage so I already set him up with a dark estoc. :) The rapier only needs 5str 12dex, where the estoc requires 12/12, but yh it wasn't really a serious suggestion as it all depends on preference, if you don't like the parry on R2 the rapier is no good tbh.
