Posted August 31, 2014. In the balcony rooms the couch is short and opens to a single bed. Fourth person would be in a bed that folds down from the ceiling. In mini suites the couch is longer and opens into a double bed for third and fourth person to share. Minis also have larger bathrooms.

As always the crew is absolutely fantastic. We will definitely cruise on the Epic again although the ship is a bit worn in areas, but also fresh in others.

The aft of the Epic is straight up and down, so the suites on every deck are the same size. It’s really about how far up or down you want to be. Keep in mind that Spice H2O is aft, so you’re more likely to hear it the higher up you are. We were on deck 10 and my mom was on 11. Both locations were great!
