Tundra 4lo light flashing.
This is likely due to the shifting process timing out (jammed t-case or diff actuator). Until the condition is corrected and the ECU reset the light just keeps flashing. With the vehicle off I just unplugged the connection on the 4WD ecu and let it sit for a few minutes then plugged it back in.
Got my truck back and the check engine and 4LO were no longer illuminated but the traction control still was. Then all of a sudden this morning the other two were back. Then you can stop put the truck in neutral and then puch the 4LO button. The truck will not go into 4LO without first being in 4HI.

Next step is shift into Drive and see what happens. Not sure about the blinking light you describe if it is going into 4hi as you state.

Jun 30, 2014 · Yes, I finally got to it and fix it. It was the 4wd actuator switch on the transfer case. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on. No more 4lo flashing and my 4hi and 4lo work now.
