G29 had a weird dead zone in the middle, loud gear noises and felt noticeably weaker and you could feel the notches of the gears. I also couldn’t figure out how to catch oversteer on it. As soon as I tried the t300, it was obvious how much better it was over the g29. I instantly understood when I was losing grip vs just guessing with the g29.

Apart from the double clutch you would use rarely and the other gimmicky feature, there isn’t anything that justifies paying more. If you don’t mind paying for the G923, I would suggest going for a Thrustmaster T300. The G920 is basically the same as the G29. I got G19 instead of the T150 because I read that thrustmaster vuikd quality was questionable and the Logitech was reliable. I was also able to get a shifter for cheaper. They’re both good. I liked the G29 more, so I got it.
G29 & G27 (same internals, and then same as G923 which only adds vibration in grips of wheel). The G29 uses gears as internals, which are notchy and terrible and make the FFB so much worse. One design advantage that it does have against the Logitech is that the TMX is slightly larger, which most racing sim fans will appreciate. TMX Pro vs G920: Force Feedback.
