Hi Am thinking of giving BL2 another go. Played a bit (only lvl 23) as Gaige a year or so back and want to give the Siren a try. I see lots of information out that about Maya builds, but they all seem to show what the build should look like at level 72. I am looking for any insight on where to put points from levels 1 to 30 or so. And what the best early game weapons …
theres not a single build that is able to solo all content, each stuff requires different setups and stuff (mainly raids) ... Spec into the Cataclysm tree, it is without a doubt the best option for max DPS (skip Immolate and Backdraft, they're fairly useless). Once you get down to Reaper, you should be melting lots of HP, especially with a Class Mod that boosts it. Consider a Cat class mod and some good SMGs for maximum synergy/damage output.Twisted Pimp build. His ability to dish out insane amounts of damage and endlessly heal with the right gear. Makes him perfect for doing enough damage to solo the game and enough survivability to do so.

Sand Hawk is rather impracical without Bee which boosts its DPS by an order of magnitude at least. Bonus Package won't help you much with this build. Either try Quasar if you're control freak, or good old slag transfusion for utility. Or even Fastball for insta-kills. Also, launcher for second winds.
Try to use elemental weapons. Fire for humans and animals. Shock for shielded targets, Corrosive for robots and armored targets. Explosive works fairly well on everything. You can ignore Slag while you're in Normal mode. Maya is also good with Sniper weapons. Try to find a good Jacobs sniper. Maliwans are good too.

Chain reaction setup, although in this case you may want to swap some points to kinetic reflection from somewhere, 3. Fleet maya with a breakneck banshee and rough rider.Also loadout if you are curious it's Consummate Hellfire, DP Unkempt Harold, Practicable Slow Hand (Slag), Puissant Norfleet (Shock), Evolution, Legendary Siren Class Mod, Longbow Storm Front, and Bone of the Ancients (Fire).
