I got talked into trying Legends and allowing these people to install it. There in lies my mistake. I agree with your assessment on Ohlins vs Legends. IIRC, the Ohlins is a standard body and the spring is selected for your weight when you order the shock. Individual shops may elect to adjust the valving on the Ohlins but that is not a factory option. My Builder recommends Pro-Action and he can do the entire job for less than the Ohlins. With the Ohlins I would have to do all the work myself. The Factory for the Pro-Action is only 4 hrs away, American Made and Lifetime warranty. Ohlins Made overseas with a 1 year warranty. Ohlins has years with a great reputation.

My preference is based totally on looks and with that I rank Pro-Action #1, Ohlins #2 and Legends #3. I like the finish of the Pro-Action shocks and they look more robust than the other two brands. This is my fourth suspension purchase from Legend. Always the best quality and customer service. I installed Revo Arcs on my new CVO RGST.
