Reviewed January 28, 2014. Property and rooms are beautiful. Staff is helpful & willing to help in every way. The 2 bedroom villas are very spacious, easily sleeps 9 people. We had 5 people and never felt crowded. The pools are wonderful also. The Mad Hatter splash area was great. The Mad Hatter's hat dumps gallons of water for a lot of fun. The Grand Floridian is Disneys symbol of elegance and class, From the decor to the food to the staff everything is perfect! The rooms are very comfortable and the free wifi is very handy. Younger travellers will have fun trying to find the hidden Disney characters in the room decor and around the hotel itself. We stayed at the Grand Floridian from Nov 17-21st 2022. It was our first time staying at the Grand Floridian and a bucket list resort for my family. We are DVC owners at Copper Creek so we stayed on DVC points. We were in a newer DVC villa in the Big Pine Key building. The room - Gorgeous! Loved the decor.As DVC started building companion facilities at the Wilderness Lodge Resort and the Beach Club Resort, we waited and wondered when the monorail resorts would get theirs.
