Running the Colt King Cobra Carry. This revolver provides a great impression. It just feels how a concealed-carry revolver should with its steel constructions and Hogue grips. What I can learn from research is that the Python was originally intended to be a 38 special target revolver. The changeover to the magnum was a last minute type of thing. Try googling "Python rib scope mounts", or similar. There were several companies (B-Square?) who made optic mounts that clamped on the ventilated rib. I have similar on my HS .22 Victor's rib, and the mount works well. Might have to measure / compare vent rib dimensions between Python & KC.
